Check-In/Check-Out Times
At all three of our hotels, check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am.

Daily Resort Fee
The Cavalier Resort Experience Fee varies by hotel and season. This daily fee is already included in your room rate and provides access to an enviable list of amenities designed to enhance your visit. Learn More.
Parking
The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club
- Valet parking (overnight guests): $34 per night
- Self-parking: Not available
- Restaurant visitors: Valet parking is $7
Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort
- Valet parking (overnight guests): $32 per night
- Self-parking (overnight guests): $25 per night
- Daily visitors: Garage parking is $5 per hour
Embassy Suites by Hilton™ Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort
- Valet parking (overnight guests): $32 per night
- Self-parking (overnight guests): $25 per night
- Daily visitors: Garage parking is $5 per hour
Resort Pools
Our resort features six pools (three indoor and three outdoor) across our three hotels. Each property offers its own private indoor and outdoor pool experience, designed exclusively for the enjoyment of its registered overnight guests. Pool access is limited to the hotel where you are staying. Pool hopping between hotels is not permitted.
Resort Fitness Centers
Access to hotel fitness centers, open 24/7 at each of our three hotels, is available exclusively for registered overnight guests only.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome at the Embassy Suites. Pets are not allowed at The Cavalier or Marriott. Service animals are allowed at all hotels.
Smoking Policy
All guest rooms, balconies, and public spaces are smoke-free. A deep cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in a room.
Photography & Videography Policy
The Cavalier Resort maintains a strict policy against the use of its grounds (all interior spaces, exterior grounds, shared resort areas, etc.) for unauthorized professional or commercial photography/videography/drone purposes. Questions regarding this policy may be directed to marketing@goldkeyphr.com.
In-Room Gatherings
Only registered guests are allowed in hotel rooms. Parties and gatherings are not permitted.
